Dozier Tank & Welding has been family owned and operated through three generations. Currently run by David Dozier and three of his sons, Matt, Joe, and Steve. Matt is the vice president of the company and oversees operations in both Richmond and Selma. Joe manages the shop in Richmond and Steve manages the shop in Chesapeake. From day one Dozier Tank has been a family affair.
Starting out Dozier Tank was a small repair shop in Chesapeake, VA. Founded by Richard Dozier in 1966 when he took over the repair business from Gary Steel Products Corp which has since gone out of business. David took over the business from his father in the mid-'80s.
We have a long history of excellent work and customer service. We're proud to have served the trucking industry for over 50 years and now in three locations. We now have shops in Richmond, VA and Selma, NC. We also offer mobile testing services upon request.
